A Master of Tsugaru Jamisen is visiting LA from Japan in June! We are hosting a special workshop and concert led by world-renowned Tsugaru-jamisen artist – Hiroshi Yamaguchi. This is a rare opportunity to experience the shamisen style that originated in the Tsugaru region of northern Japan. Hiroshi Yamaguchi is well known in Japan and has performed for high-profile audiences around the world, including Imperial Prince Takahito Mikasanomiya.

We are hosting 2 events in April! One is a festival with lots of Asian foods, live performances, and a variety of cultural experiences. A cosplay contest is held too! The other one is a special concert of a master shamisen artist visiting LA from Japan!
